Project Brief

This project was designed for the Interiors furniture competition. The competition was based on designing a furniture piece according to a metamorphose of a living creature. The metamorphose was developed by transforming a picture into a series of sketches to achieve the final furniture piece.
Horses are majestic but can be perceived in diverse ways according to the eye of the viewer. This sketch of two horses creates an illusion
in the human brain and makes one ponder if it is one or two. The concept is based on the versatile ways human’s perceive things. The
console I designed is a transformation of this image that consists of many elements that can come together to serve a purpose or be used in a versatile way as per the consumers need.
